The Sisters' Dual Dream of Rebirth (2006) was based on an Irish Fairytale "The Corpse Watchers" by Patrick Kennedy from The Irish Fairy Book (Alfred Perceval Graves). It was also intended to satisfy a storytelling assignment in which I was asked to develop a new story by altering a pre-exisitng fable, myth or fairytale. The original tale unfolds a heroine's journey to rescue her two sisters from a witch and ends with her finding true love. I chose to re-appropriate it as a story of two sisters who had recently lost a sibling.
